Q. What time is check in and check out?
A. Check in starts at 4 p.m. Check out is at 11 a.m.
Q. Can I bring pets?
A. Unfortunately, we do not allow pets at the home.
Q. Is there a maximum number of people?
A. Up to eight people are welcome to stay at the home; beds are provided for seven people (1 king bed, 2 queen beds, and 1 rollaway twin cot). Generally, children under the age of 2 do not count toward the maximum occupancy. Up to 12 people are welcome to visit the home at any one time.
Q: Do you allow weddings or large gatherings in your home?
A: We do not allow weddings or large gatherings at the home or on the property.
Q: Is smoking allowed in the home?
A: Smoking and vaping are prohibited on the property at all times.
Q: How does the booking process work?
A: Please fill out your rental request and submit - you will not be charged at this time. We will review your reservation and apply your wine club member discount during review. After applying any discounts we will approve your reservation and charge your card for the deposit (when booking 30 or more days out) or for the full reservation (when booking less than 30 days out).
Q: Does the home come with linens and towels, or do I need to bring my own?
A: The home is equipped with all the basic necessities. All the beds are made with fresh linens and bath towels are provided.
Q: What comes stocked in the kitchen?
A: You will find coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, seasonings, foil, and plastic wrap in the kitchen. We also provide all dishes, utensils, and cookware. We do not stock the fridge with food items, but Instacart delivers to our property and we are eight minutes from the nearest grocery store.
Q: Do I need to clean the home on departure?
A: You are not required to clean the home on departure. Cleaners will arrive at the home after your departure to prepare the home for the next guests.
Q: What fees and deposits do you charge?
A: In addition to the room rate, we charge a $250 cleaning fee, a $69 damage insurance that covers up to $3,000 of accidental damage, a 9% County Transient Occupancy Tax, a 1% County Tourism Marketing District Tax, and a fully refundable $500 security deposit. The deposit will be refunded after you check out and the home has been inspected for damage and missing items.
Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: If you cancel 30 days or less before check-in, you will forfeit the total rental if we are unable to rent to another party for those dates. The total rental includes all charges on the paid-in-full invoice. You may mitigate this loss by purchasing Travel Insurance or Cancel for Any Reason insurance offered by from a third-party provider. If we are able to rent the house to another party, you will receive a refund of the amounts paid, less credit card fees and $200 non-refundable deposit. If you cancel 31 days or more before check-in, you will receive a refund of the amounts paid, less credit card fees and $200 non-refundable deposit. There are no refunds for early departures.
Q: How far in advance can I book?
A: We allow bookings 15 months in advance. At the beginning of each month we open up a new month for bookings.
Q: What is the payment schedule?
A: If you're booking for dates more than 30 days away, $581.82 is due immediately. The balance is due 30 days before your reservation. If you're booking for dates less than 30 days away, the full amount is due upon booking.
Q: How rural is the house?
A: We are just ten minutes from downtown Paso Robles. The house is situated in the middle of our vineyard, so you may see insects, rodents, and other animals outside. It is a 3-5 minute drive from the front gate to the house on a compacted base road - regular vehicles are fine.
Q: Is the pool heated?
A: We offer pool heating from May 1 - October 31 for an additional $250/day. The pool doesn't necessarily need to be heated during the summer months, as the temperatures in Paso Robles get high enough to keep the water warm, especially with the pool cover kept closed when not in use. If you would like to heat the pool during your stay, this would add $250/day to your stay.
